The syllabus covers the requirements of the 1978 Convention, regulation II/1, Section A-II/1, Section A, II/1 STCW – 78 Convention, as amended.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of the course, trainees will have a thorough knowledge of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREG 1972) and be able to apply them when in charge of a navigational watch.
Course Requirements
Those wishing to enter this course should be the holders of certificates satisfying the requirements of regulation II/1 of the 1978 STCW Convention as amended.
