Raising the Standards of Philippine Firefighters Through Quality Training

The National Fire Training Institute (NFTI) recently visited COMPASS Training Center to explore opportunities for collaboration and observe our state-of-the-art facilities for Firefighting and HazMat training.

This landmark meeting focused on aligning local training programs with NFPA standards, ensuring Philippine fire officers are equipped with the latest skills, knowledge, and techniques to meet global benchmarks.

We are honored to have hosted Acting Director, FSSUPT Christine D. Cula, Deputy Director, FSUPT Glenn M. Salazar, and other esteemed NFTI officials.

Together with our dedicated team, Mr. Dakila Villanueva, Mr. Frank Diaz, Mr. Ryan Malonzo, Mr. Reynand Castro, Mr. Ace Ocampo, and Ms. Joy Anne Ilano, we discussed strategies to enhance training and elevate the nation’s fire safety and emergency response capabilities.

This collaboration is a significant step towards a safer and more prepared future for our communities, ensuring that every fire officer is consistently trained to the highest standards.

Let us continue to innovate and improve because every step forward in safety protocols and training means more lives saved.
